Granny

Today, "Granny" is a web personality that represents the heart and soul of our Internet community. She is a compilation of the creative forces of many people.
Originally, she was the real-life mother of this site's founder. Contributors and visitors knew this inspiration and driving force as "Granny." Now, as then, her visions set the timbre for the work we hope to accomplish here.

The Presentation Site

The presentation site is a rapidly growing interactive community; a "public forum" in cyberspace. It is designed, and redesigned, to meet the needs of its users. Many of the site's current features are the result of this process.
Presently, the site seeks to actively involve visitors, especially "newbies," in the developing GLOBAL community. Let's face it, there are a lot of us yet (A.D. 2000) that don't know much about computers :-) Site navigation is purposefully simple. Pages load quickly, direction is handy, and feedback is available 24/7.
In keeping with our goal -- to assist in the construction of resources for a truly global community -- ALL visitors and contributors are welcomed. We hope they'll spend a lot of time with us. There are exceptions, of course. Adherence to a strict Standards Policy is required. Violators will be banned from the site, or worse.
The site supports and maintains an effective management system that respects the rights of its users. Data mining and solicitation are not permitted. Information gathered by the site about its visitors is protected by the Standards Policy.
New technologies and new features are actively incorporated into this (workshop) site. While completing a project process, contributors earn section responsibility. Then, the new addition is usually included in a subsequent update to the presentation site. All contributors are reminded that inclusions and exclusions are at the sole discretion of the site's owners.

Our Contributors

Our contributors are the single most important feature of our work. Without a steady stream of ideas and cash, the presentation site would falter, then fail.
Some clarification may be necessary here. The term contributor means several things to us. While we do not solicit our visitors, VOLUNTARY contributions in U.S. or E.U. funds are gladly accepted.
Likewise, the other contributions made (talent and time, for instance) are voluntary. No contributor receives financial reward for their important work.
For any contributor, the payoff is the same -- the continued success of a vital and growing resource.
